Poole Roadworks: Road Closures & HGV Restrictions

Roadworks will be taking place on the lower part of West St and West Quay Road - Bay Hog Lane to Poole Bridge - This is due to start on 6th January and will take approximately 4 months to complete.

From: 6am on Monday 23 March until 6am on Monday 30 March 2020

POOLE BRIDGE - closed to all vehicles - access over the bridge will remain for pedestrians and cyclists depending on site safety. To undertake maintenance to the bridge by BCP Council.

Monday 23 March until Sunday 29 March 2020, 6am until 6pm daily

WEST QUAY ROAD - between the junctions of Bay Hog Lane and Poole Bridge - road closed to all vehicles.

DIVERSION: Bay Hog Lane, Twin Sails Approach, Rigler Road, Blandford Road

WEST STREET - between the junction with Bay Hog Lane and Poole Bridge - road closed to all vehicles, no parking will be permitted, no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time

DIVERSION: Bay Hog Lane, Twin Sails Approach, Rigler Road and Blandford Road

WHEN: The four closures above will be phased road closures and will take place between Monday 23 March until Sunday 29 March 2020, 6am until 6pm daily. To undertake Carriageway resurfacing by BCP Council.

From the 6th January and to enable a safe working environment for the operatives, it will be necessary to divert all HGVs via Twin Sails instead of Poole Bridge until the works are completed.
