Passengers Travelling in Freight Vehicles
As part of its on-going strategy of cost reduction, Brittany Ferries will be amending its offer in respect of the carriage of passengers travelling in freight vehicles on Channel services, with effect from 1 August 2013.
Whilst there will be no change in respect of charges for drivers or co-drivers, non-driving passengers will be invoiced at the rate of £50/€70. This rate will provide for the usual reduction of 50% in on board catering outlets and, subject to availability, the allocation of a berth in a shared 4-berth cabin.
With effect from 1st August, therefore, we would ask that you confirm the status as 'co-driver' or 'passenger' of any people travelling in the vehicle, other than the driver. Should there be any doubt, our check-in staff may ask to check the co-driver's papers.
Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require further clarification.
