Fast Craft for a Fast Freight Service



1. All freight reservations made on any Brittany Ferries Freight fast craft service are restricted to vehicles under 6.5m in length and 2.6m in height with maximum weight per axle of 2 tons. Any vehicle with greater dimensions or weight will not be permitted to either book or ship on the fast craft.
2. Reservations should be made through the UK Commercial Department using the following contact details. (Office hours Monday to Friday, 09.00 to 17.30 hours)

(Outside of office hours, reservations should be made with the Brittany Ferries Passenger Reservations office on 0870 5 360360).
3. The costs per vehicle will be as follows:-
- Poole - Cherbourg: £280 each way
- Portsmouth - Cherbourg: £280 each way
- Portsmouth - Caen: £310 each way
(Up to 2 drivers are included with each shipment. Any additional passengers will be surcharged by the standard passenger rate).
4. Payment for each shipment will only be accepted by credit or debit card. Reservations cannot be placed on the account of an existing freight credit account holder. If a booking is made more than 42 days in advance of the date of travel, a deposit will be taken. Full payment will then automatically be taken at 42 days. If a reservation is made within 42 days of the date of travel, then full payment will be taken at the time of booking.
5. Cancellation charges will apply to all bookings cancelled within 42 days of travel. A flat rate of £75 will apply to each booking (single or return). Any amount remaining will be refunded to the appropriate debit/credit card.
6. Vehicles should check in at the passenger kiosk at the relevant port no later than 45mins before the scheduled departure time.
7. Credit card bookings will be subject to a surcharge. Payments made with a debit card are not surcharged.
8. An amendment fee of £5 is payable for any change made to your booking within 42 days of departure.
9. Any vehicle that does not ship on its original booking and is subsequently transferred to another departure will be subject to the corporate rate existing at the time and a cancellation charge for the original booking will be applied.
